Starting with Love…
Together, let’s be the change we want to see in this world.
How it all started:
Growing up in a struggling Black neighborhood, I learned early on the importance of community and support. At just six years old, I began collecting and selling soda and milk bottles for spending money. Through this, I discovered many elderly neighbors who were alone and in need of assistance. I found joy in helping them with errands and simply providing companionship.
After serving in the military and moving to Austin Texas, I started a singing telegram service. A delivery to a poor nursing home inspired me to perform for the residents, which led to regular visits to uplift their spirits.
During the holidays, my friends would give me food which I often shared with the homeless. Realizing the great need, I began organizing weekly food distributions. Friends and their teenagers joined in, helping to prepare and distribute meals.
As my career as an entertainer took me around the world, I continued my outreach, visiting nursing homes, juvenile detention centers, schools, and orphanages. My mission is to remind every person, young and old, that they have value and purpose in life.

My name is Kidane Yosief.
I am from Eritrea and have been in the USA since 2013. I am an Engineer by profession and a Content Creator by hobby. I love helping people and strive to change their lives when I can. I have known Melvin since 2020, and I am so happy I met him because I have learned what happiness and love truly mean in our lives. When he shared his plan and invited me to join him on this project, I was thrilled to participate. My long-term goal has always been to give back all the privileges I have achieved—a good life and basic necessities—to those who are less privileged, including the homeless, elderly, and children.
